December 11, 2007: Today, we are proud to announce the launch of this website, which promotes the Shacktown community and the wonderful Yadkin River Valley. www.ShacktownNC.com has original content from our old site, www.shore-styers-mill.org, PLUS other community events and projects.

May 3, 2008: The first annual SpringGreen Festival will celebrate the opening of the Shacktown Farmers' Market. Please visit the market page for details.
